Peter will be talking about a practical health and safety standard for managing contractors covering selection, performance management through to completion.

Peter is the Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Executive with VT Flagship. Prior to joining VT Flagship in 1998 Peter spent 10 years with the Portsmouth Naval Base Safety Group. Following an initial career in marine engineering Peter became a full time professional safety practitioner in 1988. He has a Masters Degree in Safety Management Systems from Bournemouth University, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH). He is currently a Member of the Institution's Council of Management and President of the Hampshire Health Safety and Environmental Group.
